Most "why us" pages are a list of things every competitor also has. This one is a straight answer to the only question that matters: when is Bookafy the right choice, and when is it the wrong one?

Calendly is a booking link. Bookafy is a booking system: round-robin routing, skill-based routing so the right person gets the right job, multi-user appointments where several staff join one client, group events, per-service availability, buffers, daily caps and minimum notice. Most tools give you two of those. Where we win is the business whose scheduling has rules, not just a calendar.
Pro is $7 per user per month billed yearly, with unlimited users and unlimited appointments. Pro+ is $11 and adds HIPAA, a second SMS reminder and the custom API. There is no appointment cap and no "you have grown, now pay us triple" tier. Compare that to what per-seat pricing costs a ten-person team elsewhere and the arithmetic does the arguing for us. One text reminder is included on Pro, two on Pro+ — not billed as credits you top up. No-shows are the most expensive thing in an appointment business, and the tool that reduces them should not charge you extra every time it does its job. To be straight about it: there is no SMS on the Free plan, because texts genuinely cost money to send.
Acuity is powerful and people find it hard. Calendly is simple and people outgrow it. That gap — a tool with real scheduling logic that a normal person can set up in an afternoon — is where we have spent ten years.
